Summary: With a short walk to the neighbor restaurants and grocery market along back streets in the area, a small public garden right in front of the hotel, a short ride via taxi to the tourist spots in the city, and airy room with partially operable window plus great ventilation in bathroom, really enjoyed the stay; however it needs an upgrade to the room, especially the television …

Summary: The staff was very helpful. There was someone at the front desk who spoke and understood English which was helpful. Good location and easy to catch a taxi.

Summary: The hotel was comfortable and had excellent facilities, including a sauna. The staff were really helpful and made sure we got to the airport on time. On the down side, not great for public transport links. The water pressure in the shower was good, but this kind of made the shower cubicle leak, which in turn made the floor pretty slippery. My partner also complained about the cost of breakfast, but I think approx. 130rmb is par for the course in these kinds of places.

Summary: Well located hotel if you're not looking for the dead centre of town. There are quite a few bars, coffee shops and a good mix of restaurants in the area. Metro is 10 minutes walk then easy to get to the centre. Airport is about 20 mins away. The hotel has good facilities so all up it's a good choice.

Summary: Everything about this hotel was excellent, from the rooms themselves to the service. Our greatest surprise was the neighborhood. We decided to take the subway back one night and discovered an incredible hot pot restaurant nearby, along with what clearly looks like an upscale shopping district. Highly recommended.

Summary: A good hotel but about 20 mins from the city centre. Taxis are so cheap in Chengdu meaning that doesn't really matter though. You won't find anything good to do within walking distance of the hotel, lots of slums and poverty, nearby apartment blocks so deteriorated they look like they're about to collapse. If you just want a base to spend your time with a few trips out, this hotel is perfect as it's very westernised and has an excellent restaurant which always seemed to be open. If you want to wander round exploring without using taxis, stay in the city centre where it's not so run down. All in all a posh hotel that's very comfortable with good facilities.
